V. chagasii isolation from massive larval mortalities of farmed scallop

This study reports for the first time the isolation of V. chagasii from massive larval mortalities of farmed scallop (Argopecten purpuratus) in Chile, and demonstrated the pathogenic activity of V. chagasii towards Chilean scallop, the second most important species for Chilean mariculture.
