In vitro transcriptome analysis of the effects of interruption of PA14_61720 and down-regulation of lolB in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA14. Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA14

The objective of this study was to compare the transcriptome of the strain PA14 (type Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain) to the isogenic transposon mutant PA14_61720::MAR2xT7 in which expression of the gene lolB is down-regulated, to study the effects of lolB downregulation on P. aeruginosa physiology and virulence. Strains were grown in vitro on Pseudomonas isolation agar and RNA was obtained for transcriptomic analysis.
