[Dataset] Communication, education, and health for the sustainability of Brazil's National Health System: data report on the COVID-19 learning pathway of the AVASUS platform

README Contextualization This repository contains the anonymized dataset used in the data report entitled "Communication, education, and health for the sustainability of Brazil's National Health System: data report on the COVID-19 learning pathway of the AVASUS platform." The data report structures, describes, and makes publicly available records from the 24 courses that constitute the COVID-19 learning pathway of the Virtual Learning Environment of the Brazilian National Health System (AVASUS), a national technology-mediated education platform developed by the Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Health (LAIS) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in cooperation with Brazil's Ministry of Health. The dataset comprises 490,821 enrollments from 253,986 course participants, recorded between March 6, 2020, and December 31, 2025. Primary data were extracted from AVASUS and integrated with three official secondary sources: the National Register of Health Facilities (CNES), the Brazilian Classification of Occupations (CBO), and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The repository is organized to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse. All attributes that could identify course participants, or minimally enable their tracing, were removed.
