This data consists of 5720 records derived from 21 tows covering 28.194 km at 4.93m resolution, over a depth range of .0 to .0 meters. Classification of the benthos and substrate was based on 17 benthic classes and 6 substrate classes. Summary of the primary benthic categories recorded Gorgonians 24.45% Macroalgae 38.21% NoBenthos 36.43% Macroalgae and Gorgonians 0.89% Summary of substrates recorded Rubble 8.74% Rock 3.81% Sand 7.29% BedrockReef 31.11% Silt 11.67% Bedrock 0.36% SandWaves 15.31% Stone 5.00% SandCoarse 16.67% A custom interface has been developed by AIMS staff for reading Towed Video tapes.
