Comparative analyses of activities concerning sportlikeness and a variety of factors

Investigators ask participants whether they are familiar with an activity and whether they approve of that activity. If respondents are very familiar or somewhat familiar with an activity, then the respondent receives a question concerning how sportlike the activity is. They are able to choose that it is a "core sport", "highly sportlike", "somewhat sportlike", "not-very sportlike" or "not-very sportlike at all." Activities were independently categorised according to different criteria, such as that the activity involves constitutive or facilitative rules, is an adventure sport or not, etc. Then each activity was analysed.
