Legal Amazon crop production value in Brazil 2000-2020

The production of permanent and temporary crops in the Legal Amazon area in Brazil amounted to more than 114 billion Brazilian reals in 2020, a year-over-year growth of around 36 percent. In comparison to the beginning of the century, this figure has increased by roughly 18-fold. The area planted with crops in the Legal Amazon has nearly tripled in the same period.
