This dataset is a spatial distribution map of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the soft rock area in 2017, with a raster data format. It is sourced from the National Key R&D Program of China under the 13th Five-Year Plan titled "Ecological Comprehensive Management Technology for the Soft Rock Area in the Ordos Plateau". Compiled by the Institute of Desertification Studies, Chinese Academy of Forestry in June 2020, this map adopts the Albers Equal-Area Conic Projection with standard parallels at 25°N and 47°N. The core content of this dataset is the spatial distribution of NDVI in the soft rock area.
