Supporting code for "Compensation of nitrogen inputs and losses in the modern and past Mediterranean Sea"

This repository contains the code and input data needed to reproduce the continental shelf area analysis performed for "Compensation of nitrogen inputs and losses in the modern and past Mediterranean Sea." Files include: environment.yml -- conda environment lat_GL256.txt / lon_GL256.txt -- latitude / longitude files on a degree 256 Gauss Legendre grid etopo_ice_15.txt -- the Etopo2 topography, which includes modern ice thicknesses d14n_med_continental_shelf_notebook.ipynb -- Jupyter notebook containing code needed to simulate mediterranean continental shelf area gia_inputs_med_only.zip -- compressed file with 720 GIA model outputs for the Mediterranean for the last 175,000 years for a range of ice sheet and solid Earth scenarios For details on the how the GIA ensemble was produced, see Wald et al.
