AI and Robotics in the City: Exploratory OpenAlex Retrieval and Evidence Verification Dataset

Description This dataset documents the exploratory literature retrieval, bibliographic organization, and preliminary evidence-verification process supporting the review AI and Robotics in the City: A Five-Axis Framework for the Distribution of Labor-Market, Governance, and Environmental Benefits and Risks. Six OpenAlex search families were executed on 2–3 November 2026, producing 94,249 exported rows and 83,422 distinct OpenAlex Work IDs after identifier-level consolidation. The research included an AI-assisted 180-record title/abstract pilot, source appraisal of 29 candidate studies, and closer examination of 15 advanced candidates across labor markets, urban governance, and environmental impacts. The accompanying documentation distinguishes original retrieval records, preliminary screening assessments, source-verification decisions, and unresolved bibliographic duplicates. The executed historical query strings are not fully recoverable, and final eligibility adjudication has not been completed. The materials support transparency and further reproducibility work. They should not be interpreted as a completed systematic review, an exhaustively screened literature corpus, or evidence of independently verified causal effects.
