Canadian Gallup Poll, December 1993, #022z

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions on the past election, satisfaction with certain political parties' presence in the House of Commons, the state of the economy, and attitudes toward affirmative action. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as trust in the Canadian supply of blood for blood transfusions, NAFTA, and Santa Claus. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; political parties; affirmative action; blood contamination; Santa Claus, free trade, and political party preference. Basic demographic variables are also included.
