Impact of Streptococcus mitis on oral cancer cell

This is a study to clarify the effects of Streptococcus mitis, a common oral bacterium, on oral cancer cells. In our experiments so far, we have found that co-culturing 2D-cultured oral cancer cells with S. mitis suppresses the growth of oral cancer cells. This data is intended to elucidate what kind of changes in gene expression occur in HSC-3 cells derived from human tongue cancer co-cultured with S. mitis.
