资源简介:
The dataset consisted of 7,744 responses collected via an online survey and/or face-to-face method in Hong Kong during periods of social unrest, the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent post-pandemic normalcy. No data were collected in 2020. Data collection was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire that included demographic information (e.g., gender, age range, marital status, parental status, family status, family composition, education level, employment status, and monthly income), self-rated family happiness, individual happiness, five love languages, a 4-item mental capital measure, family health (i.e., physical and mental health status), family resilience, and family resources. While most items remained consistent across the years, some were added, revised, or deleted in response to changing social situations (refer to the data file 2_index values comparison for details). Data verification was performed, and additional computations (i.e., total score of family solidarity and a mean score of family resources) were included to enhance interpretability. Despite these modifications, the raw data were preserved. The items and their corresponding response formats were detailed, and a dot "." was used to indicate missing data. The project was funded by Wofoo Social Enterprise (ref: WOFOO21041), and Research Matching Grants Scheme (RMGS), the Research Grants Council, University Grants Committee.
