资源简介:
The skin ageing is mostly associated with damage of dermal fibroblasts, and multiple approaches were explored to ameliorate it. The exosome-like nanovesicles (ELNs) derived from plants, as natural nanocarriers, were innately replete with bioactive lipids, proteins, RNA, and other pharmacologically active molecules, and their putative function and usage were investigated extensively. In the current study, the isolation and purification of ELNs of Panax notoginseng (sanqi), a famous herb, was performed successfully. The internalization of ELNs derived from Sanqi by human skin fibroblasts (HSFs) positively affects their viability, and the pre-treatment of HSFs with ELNs could not only prevent oxidative stress in a dose-dependent manner, but also ameliorate the damage caused by H2O2 treatment. The analysis of cargo of ELNs revealed the presence of miRNAs. These findings suggest a therapeutic potential of Panax-derived ELNs for treatment of skin aging and aging-related diseases.
