The effect of university technology transfer on the development of regional new quality productivity：Empirical analysis based on the transfer data of invention patents in colleges and universities

This article collects the transfer data of invention patents in Chinese universities from 2012 to 2022 based on the IncoPat patent database, and conducts cleaning, screening, and statistical analysis on this basis. Using 31 provinces across the country as the research object, calculate the number of university patents each province undertakes annually. The dependent variable "regional new quality productivity" is measured by multiple indicators, and the relevant indicator data mainly comes from official materials such as regional statistical yearbooks and scientific and technological statistical yearbooks.
