MAST-U divertor ion sources and sinks Super-X divertor with D- - 46860

Divertor ion sources and sinks in the MAST-U divertor for a beam-heated L-mode discharge - 46860.

This is obtained using data from the Divertor Monitoring Spectrometer (DMS) and applying a Bayesian analysis (BaSPMI), published in Verhaegh, et al. 2021, Plasma Physics Control. Fusion; Verhaegh, et al. 2023, Nucl. Fusion.

This analysis features an additional free parameter for inferring a potential D- contribution to the hydrogen atomic emission, enabling the estimate of ion sources and sinks from D-, hydrogenic radiative power losses as well as additional dissociation channels from D- driven MAD.
