This Antarctic sea ice CMIP6 projection dataset provides sea ice concentration projections from the MRI-ESM2-0 model under three future scenarios, namely SSP126, SSP245, and SSP585. By evaluating the discrepancies between the model's historical sea ice climatology (1995–2014) and observations, with assessment metrics including spatial correlation coefficients and root-mean-square error, the MRI-ESM2-0 model ranks among the top-performing CMIP6 models for sea ice simulations.
