Construction share of total employment in Europe 2024, by country

In the first quarter of 2024, Greece was the European country with the lowest rate of employment in construction as a share of all employment in the economy overall. The average rate for the European Union as a whole was 6.75 percent. Romania was the country with the highest share of construction employees at 10.65 percent, followed by Slovakia at 10.44 percent.
