Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986, Omnibus no. 13

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986 comprises 20 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1986. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1986 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household, number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, public or private employment and income; education, occupational status and public or private employment of the head of the household; gross household income; the housewife's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election; and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Assessment of the performance of the Government; the TV quiz 'Kunstquiz' (Arts Quiz); a future TV Channel 2 financed by commercials or by a raise of the TV licence fee; attitude to a TV Channel 2 being part of Radio Denmark or being an independent channel; daily work with computers; education in edp; personal computer in the household; use of personal computer (video games, business and office work, educational purposes, cheque account control, budgeting, word processing, address lists, information retrieval); attitude to computer science as a school subject; attitude to free access for researchers to public computer registers if the researchers ensure that the information will not be abused; possible abuse of public computer registers; and general attitude to research
