Amazonian soil and sediment metagenomes and metagenome-assembled genomes

The Amazonian upland and floodplain forests are dynamic ecosystems that have an important role for the regional and global hydrological and biogeochemical cycles. Here, we performed the metagenomic sequencing followed by the reconstruction of the metagenome-assembled genomes from Amazonian soil and sediments, aiming to investigate the functional, ecological and genomic traits of the microbiota in these environments.
