This data file was used to estimate prefledging survival and growth rates of black brant goslings as a function of their Mother's PAIRSTAT in Leach and Sedinger (2016). Each row represents a gosling. Data fields: CH=gosling capture history; MOTHER=mother's tarsal band; BRA = brood rearing area typically used by mother (see paper); GAGE = gosling age (days) at capture; GBM = gosling mass at capture; GSEX=sex of gosling; GBD = brood rearing area where gosling was captured; PAIRSTAT (see paper): FUTCHG = Pre-switch; EXP = unfamiliar, male experienced; NON = unfamiliar, male not experienced; MALE indicates if the father was unmarked.
