资源简介:
One critical factor determining land fertility in the provinces of Kazakhstan’s North is the climate. The area has a continental climate with severe winters and hot summers. The average annual temperature ranges from -17°C to +20°C. Such conditions can affect the seasonality and productivity of agriculture because of its two branches (crop and livestock). The first branch is a more climate-dependent sector in the agro-industrial complex than the second branch. In recent decades, climate change towards global warming has had a beneficial effect on soil conditions in Kazakhstan’s North, allowing agronomists to obtain high yields of crops by increasing their growing season. It also makes it possible to predict the satisfaction of domestic demand for grain crops and an increase in their export abroad.
