The object of the study was to generate a more complete full-length transcriptome of faba bean by combining the SMRT and NGS sequencing strategy, the more complete full-length transcriptome will be valuable for further genome annotation in faba bean. In addition, the transcriptomic information is useful for understanding the drought tolerant mechanism during faba bean seed germination.
