Structural steel S235 specimens videos using a Hirox HRX-2 digital microscope.
All (6) specimens were tested under constant amplitude and uniform frequency of 15 Hz, under force controlled testing conditions. The material being tested is the structural steel S235 according to the EN 10025 standard.
AX-03: R-ratio = -1, Stress amplitude = 275 MPa, Nf= 82916 cycles;
AX-04: R-ratio = -1, Stress amplitude = 250 MPa, Nf= 809606 cycles;
AX-05: R-ratio = -1, Stress amplitude = 250 MPa, Nf= 562468 cycles;
AX-15: R-ratio = 0.01, Stress amplitude = 171.84 MPa, Max stress = 346.22 MPa, Nf = 1834834 cycles;
AX-18: R-ratio = 0.01, Stress amplitude = 179.27 MPa, Max stress = 362.17 MPa, Nf = 548194 cycles;
AX-20: R-ratio = 0.01, Stress amplitude = 187.68 MPa, Max stress = 379.14 MPa, Nf = 335964 cycles.
