Shock data freight wagons

DB Cargo AG has equipped its freight wagons with modern telematics equipment. Various sensors provide data with regular frequency and also event-based data.

This dataset contains information on major impacts measured by an accelerometer on the wagon.

wagonID = Unique ID of the freight wagon
latitude = latitude
longitude = longitude
speed = GNSS speed of the car in km/h
delta_timestamp = measurement time relative to t0
shock_duration = duration of the shock event in ms
shock_x_axis = raw data for the x-axis in g with 500Hz
x_axis = Max. amplitude for x-axis in g
shock_y_axis = raw data for y-axis in g with 500Hz
y_axis = Max. amplitude for y-axis in g
shock_z_axis = raw data for z-axis in g with 500Hz
z_axis = Max. amplitude for z-axis in g

With the help of the data, a categorization of the shocks in e.g. shunting, stretching and loading. Furthermore, conclusions could be drawn about route quality or damage to the freight wagon (CBM).
