Epidemic Dynamics Dataset for Chicken Major Diseases in 2024

The following epidemiological characteristics of diseases transmitted through breeder chicken，such as Chicken Infectious Anemia Virus (CIAV, 26.91%), Avian Reovirus (ARV, 4.49%), and Fowl Adenovirus Group I (FAdV-I, 2.11%) were predominant in 2024. Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV, 24.80%) of the immunosuppressive disease pathogens was the most prominent. Among the respiratory disease pathogens, infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV, 20.84%) and H9N2 Avian Influenza Virus (AIV-H9, 11.35%) remained significant threats.Key gene sequencing of major pathogens (IBV, AIV-H9, CIAV, IBDV, FAdV-I) indicated that GI-19 remained the dominant genotype of IBV.AIV-H9 isolates were clustered in the h9.4.2.5 subclade, with partial strains showing divergence from the F vaccine strain. CIAV isolates were genetically distant from the 26P4 vaccine strain, belonging to Branch III. Novel IBDV variant strains was dominated than other types. FAdV-I C4 and E8a strains remained prevalent.
