This file contains Health Department circulars and correspondence relating to the payment of radiologists for services provided at Newcastle Western Suburbs Hospital, along with minutes, memoranda, rough workings and handwritten running records with monthly tallies of the number of X-Ray services at the Hospital. The latest datable items carry the record down to the end of December, 1987, and must therefore have been added to the file in the opening weeks of 1988. There are also several unused Forms Of Agreement To Provide Services. The Hospital opened its Radiology Department on the 15th March, 1968, but services were provided by visiting radiologists throughout the period covered by this file.
