Rice seedling microbiome analysis through 16S and ITS amplicon sequencing

The goal of this study is to identify and characterize bacteria and fungi associated with rice seedlings through 16S and ITS rRNA amplicon sequencing. This study will also reveal the driving factor for rice seedling microbiome during germination and describe the distribution pattern of microbiome across different tissue compartment. Furthermore, this study help to point our the core microbiome with the potential to be developed as biofertilizer and biocontrol agent for rice farming.
