Effect of BHB on transcriptional changes of antigen-stimulated CART19 cells

This study examines the impact of ß-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) on T cell function using RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and H3K27ac CUT&RUN profiling to characterize BHB-induced transcriptional and epigenetic remodeling. Overall design: Plates were coated with CD19 protein and incubated overnight at 4 °C. After blocking with 2% BSA the following day, human CAR T19 cells were added and cultured for 48 h in the presence of vehicle or 5 mM ß-hydroxybutyrate (BHB).
