Comparison of gene expression identified several significantly overexpressed genes in tumors recovered from hetIL-15-treated mice. These upregulated genes after hetIL-15 treatment represent an expression signature that corresponds to activated TILs with cytotoxic phenotype. Nanostring analysis also identified additional functional pathway signatures, including signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) intracellular signaling, TCR recognition of cognate antigen, interferons signaling, increased metabolic rate and immune cell chemotaxis nCounter PanCancer Immune Profiling Panel (NanoString Technologies) was used to monitor the expression of a panel of 770 genes related to immune-oncology in MC38 tumors of PBS- and hetIL-15-treated mice.
