Vibrio from sea otters and environment

This survey isolated Vibrio species to investigate antimicrobial resistance and disease associations in sea otters. Vibrio species were isolated from various body sites living and tissues of necropsied otters. Southern and norther sea otter subspecies were sampled, as well as from sea birds, shellfish, and environmental samples from sea otter environmental range.
