The goal of this study is to investigate the gene expression in mouse macrophages following bacterial pneumonia. To address whether TLR3 deletion leads to deregulation of specific molecular pathways relevant to apoptosis and investigated transcriptional differences between TLR3 (+/+) and TLR3 (-/-) naïve macrophages or injured macrophages (following pneumonia). Overall design: Four groups: WT.Control, WT.Injured, TLR3.control, TLR3.injured. With 3 or 4 replicates each, for 15 samples total
