Data from: Repeated adaptation of the freshwater goby Rhinogobius kurodai from lotic to lentic environments in the Kanto Plain, Japan

This dataset contains raw data and derived datasets associated with the study “Repeated adaptation of the freshwater goby Rhinogobius kurodai from lotic to lentic environments in the Kanto Plain, Japan: morphological, behavioural and genetic approaches.” The archived files support the morphological and behavioural components of the study. The raw data include specimen photographs used for geometric morphometric analyses and video recordings used for behavioural analyses. The video recordings are provided as seven compressed archives, video_data_1.zip to video_data_7.zip, containing raw video data for sample IDs 471–566. The derived datasets include sample metadata, specimen measurement data, and coordinate data extracted from the behavioural videos. Sequence read data associated with the study are available from the NCBI Sequence Read Archive under BioProject accession number PRJNA1227480.
