Correlation between centrality indices and essentiality.

The correlation of centrality measures with essentiality (τess) is measured by Kendall's tau rank correlation coefficient. The correlation with essentiality, after controlling for correlation with degree centrality, is measured using the partial Kendall's tau rank correlation coefficient (τess.dc). The p-values are derived from the Kendall's tau z-scores and are shown in parentheses.
