Banana_pineapple rotation entire growth period rhizosphere soil

Soil samples were collected from the root zone of different pineapple varieties and banana seedlings throughout the pineapple season. Sampling occurred at key growth stages: seedling, vegetative growth, flowering (or budding), and maturity. Similarly, during the subsequent banana season, root zone soils were sampled from banana plants at the same four growth stages (seedling, vegetative growth, budding, and maturity) under different treatments. This sampling strategy allowed us to determine the composition and dynamics of the root zone soil microbial communities across the entire crop rotation cycle.
