Dataset of "Determinants of Quality of Life Among Elderly in a Social Care Center: Emphasis on Sleep Behavior"

This dataset contains anonymized quantitative data collected from elderly residents living in a social care center in Indonesia. The data were obtained through structured questionnaires to explore the determinants of quality of life (QoL) among institutionalized elderly, with particular emphasis on sleep behavior. Variables include demographic characteristics (age, gender, marital status, education), sleep behavior indicators (sleep duration, sleep disturbances, sleep quality), and WHOQOL-BREF domain scores (physical, psychological, social, and environmental). The dataset was collected between July and September 2023 and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify key factors influencing QoL. All participants provided informed consent, and the study received ethical approval from the Research Ethics Committee of Universitas Esa Unggul (No. 0923-10.010/DPKE-KEP/FINAL-EA/UEU/X/2023). This dataset supports the article “Determinants of Quality of Life Among Elderly in a Social Care Center: Emphasis on Sleep Behavior” and is intended for secondary analysis and educational use.
