Supplementary data for: Belowground effects of ground-dwelling large herbivores in forest ecosystems

This collection contains the data compiled for the literature review titled "Belowground effects of large herbivores in forest ecosystems." The spreadsheets include information extracted from scientific articles on the effects of large herbivores on litter and soil dynamics, covering chemical, physical, and biological soil variables, as well as large mammalian herbivore species (>10 kg) in forest ecosystems. Each spreadsheet provides references, and studied variables from the selected articles. This deposit aims to make the data available for transparency, reproducibility, and future use by researchers. The content is organized into folders according to data type, with accompanying documentation detailing the columns and units.
