Global-ABLWind is a global atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) wind speed profile dataset based on the first spaceborne LiDAR Aeolus covering the height range from 100 m to 2000 m above ground level at 100 m vertical resolution, spanning the period from July 2020 to April 2023. The Aeolus has two receivers that simultaneously capture the signal from both the Rayleigh (Ray) and Mie channels. Similarly, this dataset also includes two versions based on Aeolus observations from different channels The temporal and spatial resolution is identical to that of the Aeolus L2C product.
