This dataset supports the mixed-methods research article examining the formal, pedagogical, and content characteristics of children's magazines in Türkiye alongside parent experiences. It contains two main parts: (1) Quantitative content analysis evaluations of 83 children's magazines across 12 specific quality criteria, and (2) Qualitative open-ended questionnaire responses from 35 parents regarding their selection, co-reading practices, and experiences with these magazines.
