Data Description: Entropy per Energy for the XY Model This dataset presents the entropy per energy for the classical two-dimensional square lattice XY model , obtained through Replica Exchange Wang-Landau simulations. The files are systematically named to provide clear information about their content. File Naming Convention Each file follows the logic: lng_xy_L<size>_r<run_number>.dat lng: Indicates that the file contains entropy data (specifically, the natural logarithm of the density of states, which is proportional to entropy). xy: Refers to the simulated XY model. L<size>: Specifies the linear system size of the simulation. r<run_number>: Denotes the independent simulation run. Multiple runs with different pseudo-random number generator seeds were performed to enable robust error analysis. System Sizes and Data Format We investigated the following linear system sizes (L) to facilitate finite-size scaling analysis: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, and 200. Within each data file, the columns are organized as follows: First column: Energy Second column: Entropy (shifted by an unknown constant, i.e., S'=S−c) If you use this dataset in your research, please cite the article: J.C.S.
