Composition of woody species with different dispersal types in long-established, middle-aged and recent forests

This data is associated with the publication "Woody species richness and turnover in expanding Mediterranean forests: a story of landscape legacies influenced by climatic aridity" in Landscape Ecology. "plots_forshare" includes plot characteristics of long-established, middle-aged and recent forest in the NE of Iberian Peninsula. "understory_forshare" and "canopy_forshare" include understory and canopy species abundance (measured as cover and basal area, respectively) in each plot.
