Geochemical characteristics of thermokarst lakes, porewaters and ice wedges in Southwestern Yukon, Canada (2022-2023)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is constituted of two tables. The first table corresponds to geochemical characteristics of 3 thermokarst lakes and their surrounding surface waters (ponds, small creeks) and water sampled in a permafrost cavity. These characteristics include physico-chemical parameters (temperature, dissolved oxygen, specific conductivity, pH), dissolved organic carbon concentrations, total dissolved nitrogen concentrations, optical parameters of dissolved organic matter (specific ultra-violet absorbance, E2/E3 ratio, fluorescence index), dissolved organic matter age (F14C and BP), acetate concentrations and water stable isotopes (δ18O and δ2H). The second table corresponds to geochemical characteristics of active layer porewaters, permafrost porewaters and ice wedges samples extracted from permafrost cores. These characteristics include pH, dissolved organic carbon concentrations, total dissolved nitrogen concentrations, optical parameters of dissolved organic matter (specific ultra-violet absorbance, E2/E3 ratio, fluorescence index), acetate concentrations and water stable isotopes (δ18O and δ2H). The age of soil samples was also assessed on plant remains (F14C and BP).
