In the present study, we employed a novel approach of incorporating biology into climate models aiming to provide a closer look at the effect of climate change on a model plant Arabidopsis. We have experimentally simulated the two native climates representing Central Europe and North Africa) based on the available environmental variable of years 2020 and 2050. The approach is already promising and provides the reliable prediction of the phenotypic and molecular changes. It is expected that our research will motivate research community to understand the potentially challenges of future climate on other plant species.
