资源简介:
In Ethiopia, hot pepper is an important cash crop for smallholder farmers and export earnings. However, its production is threatened by Fusarium wilt, caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici, leading up to 80% yield loss. To address this issue, the pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of Trichoderma isolates and hot pepper varieties for the management of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici in 2022. This dataset provides comprehensive experimental data. The data, organized across four hot pepper varieties (Marko Fana, Melka Awaze, Chala, and a local variety) with three Trichoderma isolates (T. aspaerllum, Tri-9, and Tri-26) and untreated, were collected from three replications. The dataset gives key disease parameters, including the disease severity index recorded at six time points (DAI1–DAI6), the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC), and the disease progress rate (DPR). Complementary agronomic data are also included, measuring shoot and root length, shoot and root fresh weight, shoot and root dry weight, number of pods per plant, pod length and diameter, and pod weight per plant. This structured dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers investigating biological control strategies and host resistance against Fusarium wilt in hot pepper production systems.
