Venus Planetary Climate Model volcanic plume simulation

Model output from a simulation of the Venus Planetary Climate Model, developed and maintained by the Laboratoire de Meteorologie Dynamique of the Institut Pierre Simon Laplace.The simulation includes the injection of 6 "volcanic plumes" modelled as enhancements of volcanic trace gases H₂O, HCl, CO, and OCS at three altitudes and two latitudes. The plume injection begins at time counter 4 and ends at time counter 127. After the injection begins, the plumes disperse in the wind field.The dataset includes the horizontal wind vectors u and v and the volume mixing ratios of H₂O, HCl, CO, and OCS on a grid of 96 latitudes by 96 longitudes and 36 altitudes (reaching the cloud tops). The output frequency is approximately four times per Earth day and the total length of the dataset in time is 6.25 Earth days.
