Data for "Variation in Public Health Reimbursement Policies of ECT and rTMS Across 28 European Countries: A Call for Evidence-Based Policy Reform from the ECNP Neuromodulation Network"
收藏资源简介:
Country-level data on public health reimbursement policies for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for the treatment of mental disorders, covering 28 European countries in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Reimbursement status was determined from public databases and validated by country representatives of the ECNP Neuromodulation Network. The dataset contains: (1) country-level reimbursement status of ECT and rTMS (inpatient/outpatient), together with socioeconomic and healthcare infrastructure metrics (population density, physician density, hospital bed density, Human Development Index, Gini coefficient) and source references for the 28 included countries; (2) results of statistical comparisons (Mann-Whitney U tests) between countries that do and do not reimburse the respective treatments. These data underlie the article: Variation in Public Health Reimbursement Policies of ECT and rTMS Across 28 European Countries: A Call for Evidence-Based Policy Reform from the ECNP Neuromodulation Network (Neuroscience Applied, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nsa.2026.107030).
