The high spatiotemporal precipitation product over Dabie Mountain for the summers from 2008 to 2020

The high spatiotemporal precipitation dataset for the summer months (June to August) from 2008 to 2020 is provided by the National Meteorological Information Center of China (Shen et al., 2014). This dataset is generated by integrating rain gauge observations with the CMORPH (Climate Prediction Center morphing method) precipitation product (Joyce et al., 2004) across China, using probability density function-optimal interpolation (PDF-OI) techniques (Shen et al., 2014). Featuring an hourly temporal resolution and a spatial resolution of 0.1° × 0.1°, this dataset effectively captures detailed rainfall information over the Dabie Mountains (DM). The data files uploaded here contain precipitation records for the region surrounding the Dabie Mountains during the summers from 2008 to 2020, presented in local standard time.
