Each study is associated with a general research question or theme (one of: “Recovery/ Harm Reduction/ Treatment”, “Active Use/ Production/ Promotion”, “Mortality/ Suicide/ Self-harm”, “Population Chatter/ Thematic Analysis”, “Regulatory/ Compliance”, or “Misinformation/ Myth/ Content Quality”), one or more shortlisted platforms, one or more substance categories (with “general” indicating substance use broadly), one or more data types (comments, engagement (likes, views, shares etc.) forum discussion, hashtags, pins, profiles, surveys, text posts, videos), and one or more references.
