Macrophage responses to pathogen-associated molecules are modulated by prior conditioning with cytokines such as interferons (IFNs). One of the primary mechanisms of these conditioning effects is alterations to the epigenome. We characterized IFN effects on chromatin accessibility by ATAC-seq.
