This statistic shows the level of difficulty of qualifying for a mortgage according to adults in the United States in the fourth quarter 2019, by urbanity. The majority of respondents who were living in urban areas at time of the survey believed that it was very difficult or somewhat difficult to afford a mortgage at their current financial situation, while only one fifth thought it was not difficult at all.
