资源简介:
On the basis of the framework of embodied music cognition, this study explores the impact of movement on the perception of melodic intervals using a 6-degree-of-freedom motion simulator platform. This experiment involves three translational degrees of freedom (vertical, lateral, and anterior‒posterior) of the motion platform, employing a scaling estimation method to compare participants' perceptions of melodic interval distances under two conditions: with platform movement and with a stationary platform. The goal of this study was to investigate whether platform linear movement influences auditory perception of melodic interval directions and pitch distance between two notes. The results revealed that movement on the motion platform significantly affected participants' auditory perception of melodic intervals. Linear movement in all three degrees of freedom alters interval perception, with the direction of platform movement, along with the direction and quantity of the melodic interval, influencing the perceived melodic interval distance and cent variations.
